About
Outdoor educator who has fitted hundreds of hikers at community events. Translates fit mechanics into inclusive steps so more bodies feel respected by their packs.
Core Beliefs
Comfort is a right; the pack should adapt to you, not the other way around.
Background
At a pop-up fit night, a hiker whispered they thought backpacking wasn't for their body. We adjusted torso length, rotated the belt, and rerouted load lifters. Their eyes changed before the mirror did. Watching posture relax as pain cues fade convinced me: fit is care, not vanity or hype.
Perspective
I favor broad adjustability, multiple belt sizes, and generous ranges over extreme minimalism.
